The publication I am working with has given me ad specs that don’t match up with those available on the site. What do I do?
We created these ads in the most common sizes but have also designed them so that they “float” within a somewhat larger space, up to 1½ inch on each. Here’s an example of how that works:
I would like to add a photo to one of the ads. Can this be accommodated?
While we have made many more options including both the number of ads available as well as customization opportunities, we have stopped short of the “build your own ad” approach. That’s because each of the images was sourced to support the copy of that ad and vice versa. To start switching is to weaken the impact that the ad will have so we have chosen not to do so at this time.
I want to use one of these ads but would love to have it in Spanish/Chinese, etc. Can this be accommodated?
We, too, like the idea and have put it on the list for consideration in the next phase.
I would like to give feedback on this tool and the ads. How can I provide feedback?
Please send any comments or questions via email to Libby O’Connell at libby.oconnell@pge.com.
Can others gain access to the site?
If you know a PG&E employee who needs to be added to the site for business reasons, please have them send an email to Libby O’Connell at libby.oconnell@pge.com. Non-PG&E employees will not be granted access to the site.
What happens if the name of the organization I enter, or my customized message, is longer than the space allowed?
If the organization name is too long, you may want to talk with them about acceptable options to shorten the name. For example: Assoc. instead of Association; Ctr. instead of Center.
What should I do if I receive a pop up error message?
Please logout and try reopening the site again. If you continue to have problems, please contact Libby O’Connell at libby.oconnell@pge.com
Are there limitations on the ways that I can use the Employee Ad Center and the ads featured on this site?
Yes. The Employee Ad Center is only meant to create ads for placement in small/medium print publications such as event booklets, local newspapers, newsletters, and magazines and are not meant to be printed and distributed as is, e.g. flyers, posters, giveaways, etc. If you would like to create an ad for a major publication or for other types of media, please contact Libby O’Connell at libby.oconnell@pge.com and we will assist you further.
